THE VINEYARDS

The Brome-Missisquoi wine route is recognized as the cradle of Quebec viticulture and brings together 22 vineyards, each one more fascinating than the other (and what about the landscapes?). And yes… all that just a stone’s throw from our house. There is so much to see and taste that the short description here is only to pique your curiosity. Once here, you will be given several other wonderful suggestions.

·       Domaine Côtes d’Ardoise: the oldest vineyard in Quebec! You will love to admire their gardens, historic buildings and especially their gorgeous art exhibition path. After a good walk in their domain, a tasting of their wines and ciders will be waiting for you. Just 10 minutes from our home in Dunham.

·       Orpailleur vineyard: our neighbors (15 min by car or 50 min by bike). They are the Quebec leaders in SAQ sales (and you will understand why!). Their site is adorable and includes the Ecomuseum of the vine and wine, a restaurant and tastings. What more could you ask for?

·       House of cards, vineyard and cider house: our neighbors in Dunham (15 min by car or a short one-hour bike ride). Their atmosphere is warm and you can taste a wide range of quality wines and ciders on a terrace or in picnic format near their pond.

·       Gagliano vineyard: in Dunham (15 min by car or a 45 min bike ride)!!! We are fortunate to count on Gagliano as one of our partners. This vineyard offers a warm, family atmosphere. We love tasting their wines while looking at their vineyard. When you can add their pizza cooked in a wood oven, then… you feel in Italy. Unmissable!

And many more…. There are just so many places not to be missed! You have to explore it! Be quick!
