I can't wait to welcome you to our home! I am Mylène and I am delighted to introduce you to the first vegetarian bed & breakfast in Quebec, with our popular mascot Morty, a miniature pig who will make your stay even more special.
“Alegria” has always been my favorite word in my mother tongue, Portuguese. I just smile when I say it. It also perfectly reflects the feeling that we cultivate in our house and that we want to share with you. After more than a year of facing the challenges of a pandemic, I believe that we all need a little more Alegria in our lives, in order to recharge our energy and welcome with open hearts what the future will bring.
Manoir Alegria wants to reproduce in Quebec the famous warmth that characterizes the Brazilian hospitality based on values such as: kindness, availability and generosity. An asset without which Alegria could not have been created is the unconditional support of my spouse, Sébastien, who has a heart as big as the universe and who offers all his Quebecois know-how, which makes the experience of our guests even more unforgettable. At our place you will find everything you need to fully enjoy the moment: a tempered outdoor pool, a terrace and a solarium perfect for a cup of tea in the afternoon or drink at the end of the day , a large 75-inch TV in a living room with a fireplace for humid days, an outdoor fireplace that will enchant warmer evenings (or even colder ones), and many pleasant surprises.
We are waiting for you in one of the most beautiful regions of Quebec, the Eastern Townships. Cowansville is in the heart of Brome-Missisquoi and brings together everything you can look for in a magical stay: breathtaking landscapes and majestic nature offering many options for outdoor activities during the four seasons; the typical bucolic villages; a variety of agritourism activities; unusual vineyards, cider houses and microbreweries; an unparalleled gourmet experience…ok…I’ll stop here. We had a two night stay at Manoir Alegria and we couldn’t have picked a better place. The hosts are simply amazing, they were very welcoming and were always available to answer our questions. Such a charming, beautiful and impeccably clean place. The breakfasts are absolutely delicious. On top of everything, dogs are welcome! Definitely recommend Manoir Alegria.
Delicious breakfast! Always on time and fresh...The owners are very friendly and they make sure you feel welcomed and comfortable. Room & bathroom were super clean and bed was very cozy. No issues with parking:-)
Sebastien and Mylène are exquisite hosts, very helpful and very respectful. it was a great pleasure to be in their company. The breakfasts were delicious, different every day. We felt very comfortable having our dog Blue with us and also meeting their pets.
The breakfast was fabulous and plentiful. Everything was freshly made and they were very conscientious of dietary cancers. The owners were very friendly, cheerful and accommodating. We loved sitting in the solarium with morning coffee and there was also a lounge and room for making tea or coffee if you wished. The backyard was lovely and could be used by guests if the weather permits.

Tout était très bien. Les hôtes, Mylène et Sébastien, sont très gentils et attentionnés. Ils nous mettent à l'aise en partant. Le site est très beau autant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur. Le déjeuner est copieux, avec des fruits. Notre chambre était très confortable. Morty (cochon noir) et Manuel (chien en croissance) agrémentent les lieux. Un endroit à recommander!
Beautifully kept bed and breakfast on a quiet street close to all amenities. The house is quaint, immaculate and the bedrooms and ensuites are spacious, impeccably decorated and so so comfortable The hosts are gracious, welcoming and so helpful. The homemade breakfast was first class and delicious.
Les proprios sont vraiment sympathiques ! Nous nous sommes tout de suite senti à l'aise. La chambre était très confortable et hyper propre. J'ai aimé le fait d'avoir des salles de bains privées pour toutes les chambres. Les déjeuners étaient aussi très bons.
Nos hôtes ont été extraordinaires 🥰 L'endroit est magnifique, super bien situé. Les chambres : superbe décoration ! Les déjeuners excellents et très attentionnée. Nous avons eu des accommodations pour nos vélos et d'excellentes recommandations pour les restos / microbrasseries autour. Nous recommandons chaudement 💜
Walt Disney said "Do what you do so well that they will want to see it again and bring their friends". That's the thought we had in mind as we were leaving today. We happened to be there when they celebrated the first aniversary. Sebastien and Mylene kindly invited all guests to the party. The place is run with love and care, and it's noticable at every step. The hosts have a genuine desire to make you feel good and welcomed. We enjoyed chatting with them and other guests in the morning and got some good tips for Montreal visit. The room was comfy, clean and spacious. The breakfast was nice too. Thanks again for your hospitality and wishing you many more anniversaries!!!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour. Mylène & Sébastien sont des hôtes incroyables: attentionnés, gentils, généreux, passionnés par leur projet et impliqués dans leur communauté. L'endroit est magnifique, zen, et d'une propreté irréprochable. La chambre était super confortable et il ne manquait de rien. En prime nous avons pu rencontrer Morty & Manny. Merci beaucoup et nous avons déjà hâte d'y retourner!
Hosts, Mylene and Sebastien are delightful. Breakfast was excellent and their location is central for many short excursions into the region.
La maison est magnifique. Tout est bien pensé, dedans comme dehors. On s’y sent accueilli avec chaleur et bonne humeur. La propreté des lieux est exceptionnelle. Nous n’avons pas eu l’occasion de profiter de la piscine, mais ce sera partir remise. Enfin, les hôtes sont charmants, simples et attentionnés, sans excès, avec juste ce qu’il faut de camaraderie. Et le cochon, mascotte des lieux, est discret et attachant.
Fantastic place! Exceptionally clean and welcoming. IT JUST FELT LIKE HOME! Mylene and Sebastien went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The house is lovely decorated with great taste and attention to detail. The food was delicious and the recommendations of places to visit during our stay were excellent. We could see that they really enjoy to have visitors at their place and we are excited to come back soon. Doudoune 🐶(hope I’m spelling it right.. 😉 and Morty were cute and very well behaved pets! Les hôtes sont super accueillants et chaleureux. L'endroit est super propre (que ce soit pour les aires communes ou la chambre privée et salle de bain). Le déjeuner excellent ! Le cochon et le chien (Morty et Doudoune) rendent l'expérience plus drôles, et ils sont super bien élevés.
The Best B&B experience for us thus far! Friendly, warm, welcoming atmosphere! Just like Family! The breakfast was simply wonderful! Made from home grown vegetables from the garden. It was well presented and was succulent. Honestly I believe our short stay was perfect and so awesome. Keep up the good work. You have a little gem of a house with so much warmth and positive energy. We have nothing to point out except for keep doing what you are doing. You are wonderful hosts. Thank you for your hospitality.
The house and the rooms are completely renovated and very nice. The hosts are super friendly and very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay especially with the pets Doudoune the dog and Morty the house pig. Strongly recommended for every traveller.
Petit-déjeuner excellent et varié. Literie très confortable, salle de bain très propre et agréable. Tout l'environnement est enchanteur. Le plus qui a vraiment fait la différence : l'hospitalité, et la bienveillance des hôtes! Incroyable 🙂 Nous reviendrons, c'est certain.

We enjoyed our stay at Manoir Alegria! The house/rooms were super cute and everything was extremely clean! Breakfast was delicious and well served. The hosts are incredibly nice. Needless to say, we will certainly be back!

L'accueil était joyeux et chaleureux. La piscine et le grand jardin étaient plus que bienvenus en pleine canicule. Le petit déjeuner était divin et l'atmosphère des lieux assez incomparable grâce à la gentillesse des propriétaires.
Sébastien et Mylène sont des hôtes exceptionnels. Nous avons été accueillis comme des rois. Le Gîte est près de la route des vins. Nous avons visité en 2 jours 9 vignobles de la route des vins, grâce à la proximité du Gîtes. Les déjeuners servis sont très bons. Nous avons passé trois nuits au gîte.
Nos hôtes étaient formidables, chaleureux et accueillants! Notre chambre était superbe. Sans parler du déjeuner qui était copieux, délicieux et adapté à nos besoins spécifiques. Finalement, que dire de Morty leur cochon domestique sinon qu'il était sympathique et amusant!
They are super nice family, you feel like you knew them for long time. Everything is amazing and I will be back for sure. Everything is sparkling clean and beautiful. Decorations are fantastic.
Les proprio sont juste wow ! La maison est vraiment belle et le lit est super confo. Le petit extra du feu de camp sur le bord de la piscine avec les proprio en soirée c'est vraiment génial.
We spent one of the best vacations there! The bed was very comfy and the room & bathroom was clean. The staff was friendly and let us know a lot of local places. We had a beautiful view and a great breakfast. Loved to meet a dog and a pig 🙂 I would recommend this place and def! will visit it again!
Tout était parfait!! Le dejeuner était savoureux, les produits de douche sentent vraiment bon! Le confort du lit et de la chambre est absolument apaisant. Et j'ai pu profiter de la piscine d'eau salé à température très adéquat. J'y retourne c'est certain!!
Tout est pensé dans les moindre détails et petites attentions. Un décor rénové qui allie charme champêtre et tendance actuelle. Extérieur avec piscine et équipements pour relaxer après des ballades dans la région. Un grand merci aux proprios Sebastien et Mylène pour leur accueil. Ils prennent tellement soin de vous qu’on se sent comme en visite. Et n’oublions pas Morty la mascotte, le sanglier adoptif de la maison.
Nous avons passé 2 nuits à cette place magnifique. Tout était superbe: les chambres sont spacieuses et décorées avec le goût, nos déjeuners étaient très bons. L'ambiance de cette place est un plaisir et les hôtes sont les gens exceptionnels. Le lac Davignon est juste à 2 pas, plusieurs endroits intéressants pour ceux qui aiment l'agrotourisme. Si vous cherchez une place à bien reposer et recharger vos batteries c'est une bonne place pour vous.
