WINTER

Winter it is not the time to hide from the cold or the snow. On the contrary, it’s time to take advantage as much as possible of what Quebec offers us for free and which makes many others envious: beautiful fresh snow! In fact, a nice hot chocolate or glass of wine by our indoor fireplace will taste so much better after a great day outdoors.

·       Mont Sutton: 20 minutes from us, Mont Sutton offers you a unique downhill skiing experience including glades considered among the best in North America; a snow park (rail, boxing, jumping) to perfect your skiing or snowboarding maneuvers; ski touring trails (for those who like to earn their descent); a family area (magic carpet, forest of wonders, daycare for coloring and playing, lunch area) and much more. Moreover, you can create your own course on each descent thanks to 204 track junctions!

·       Bromont Mountain: also just 20 minutes from Manoir Alegria, the well-known Bromont Mountain is a huge playground! We are talking about 141 trails for all levels (101 of which are lit), 6 snow parks, 4 alpine hiking trails and a panoramic view that can be admired with your feet warm in the magnificent Summit chalet.

·       PENS (Sutton Natural Environment Park): the atmosphere of this mountain is simply magical! Our favorite loop with crampons or snowshoes is the Round Top (its vertical drop is 968m) which offers panoramic views of the Montérégie mountains and passes by the charming Lac Spruce. But we also like the Dos d’Orignal (380m drop) when we don’t have much time available. The fact is that you will be spoiled for choice among the many course possibilities at PENS.

·       Finally (but not to end it…), right here in Cowansville, winter is full of action: winter slides, the downtown snow park, outdoor skating rinks, the (free!) cross-country ski and snowshoes path of our renowned Golf Club and several nature walking trails developed exclusively by Manoir Alegria and Le Sage Brasseur (yes, we also love walking outside!) that we will be pleased to share with you!
